A folder that explains itself
A useful archive should make sense when opened a year later. Give each project one home, choose a consistent date format, and keep a short description beside the finished files.
Separate original material from exported copies. A name such as 2026-10-notes will sort naturally and still be readable without a special application.
Keep the original photograph
Editing is easier to revisit when the original is preserved. Store the camera file first, then make a separate copy for sharing. A smaller export is convenient; it does not need to replace the source.
A quieter workspace
Small maintenance habits add up: close an unfinished tab, give a document a clear title, and leave a note about the next step. A workspace is useful when it helps you return to a thought.
